Why are group matches a bracket and not a round robin like group phase in other sports and esports?

Maru is definitely the Terran king. Whatever he might lack in micro skills compared to younger/newer players, he more than compensates for in his sheer breadth of build orders and permutations memorized. If he ever starts really learning and applying NA and EU styles (particularly ZvT), we might see another era of Maru dominance. Protoss is more competitive but I'd give it to Hero simply because Hero is an absolute nutjob, and that can make him hard to predict. He's a lot like Dark - if he ever shores up those weaknesses, he's going to be terrifying.

Loved the last game, those storms are why I play protoss.

Spoiler: Good old classic PVT. 170 / 200 supply into air as Terran is maxed on common late PVT units.

Hey @PiG, I've heard you say lots of times that protoss and zerg cross over around 40 workers - my timing and count for this is each have 44 workers at 4:44 game time. It's so common to be exactly those numbers its a really good marker to see how well toss has disrupted zerg earlygame.

I grew up playing sc as a terran, then switched to zerg. Grew up watching day9 and later artosis ja tasteless, then pig, and lets be honest, pig is easily the best caster starcraft has ever seen and its not even close.This dude has the knowledge and the passion, you can argue if serral or maru is the best player ever, but you can not argue who is the best caster ever, its pig easily.

That was broken, 16 worker lead and the exact counter units.
